If you are unable to log in to your MetaTrader 5 (MT5) trading account, the issue is usually caused by incorrect login credentials, selecting the wrong server or attempting to access an inactive trading account.
Before contacting support, please check the following:
### 1. Verify Your Login Details
Ensure that you are using the correct MT5 account number (login) and trading account password. Please note that your MT5 trading account password may be different from your Kudo Client Portal password.
### 2. Check the Selected Server
When logging in to MetaTrader 5, you must select the correct Kudo Trade Mauritius server associated with your account. Using the wrong server will prevent a successful login, even if your credentials are correct.
### 3. Confirm Your Trading Account is Active
If your trading account has not yet been approved, has been archived or is otherwise inactive, you may not be able to access it through MT5.
### 4. Reset Your Password
If you have forgotten your trading account password, you can reset it directly through the Kudo Client Portal.
### 5. Check Your Internet Connection
A poor or unstable internet connection may prevent MetaTrader 5 from connecting to the trading server.
