If trades from a Signal Provider are not being copied to your account, there are several common reasons why copy trading may not be functioning as expected.
Your Trading Account Is Not Linked Correctly
To receive copied trades, your MetaTrader 5 (MT5) trading account must be successfully linked to Kudo Copy Trader as a Copier account.
Insufficient Available Balance or Margin
If your account does not have sufficient funds or available margin to open a copied position, the trade may be skipped.
Risk Settings Prevent the Trade
Your selected copy trading settings may prevent certain trades from being copied if the position size falls outside your configured risk parameters.
Subscription Not Active
You may no longer be actively subscribed to the Signal Provider, or the subscription may not have been fully activated.
No New Trades Have Been Opened
Copy trading only applies to trades opened after your subscription becomes active. Existing positions held by a Signal Provider before you subscribed are generally not copied.
Signal Provider Has Not Opened Any New Trades
If the Signal Provider has not recently opened, modified or closed positions, there may be no activity available to copy.
Technical or Connectivity Issues
In rare cases, temporary connectivity issues between the trading account and the copy trading platform may affect trade synchronisation.
If your account appears correctly configured but trades are still not being copied, please contact Kudo Support and provide your trading account number, Signal Provider name and screenshots where possible. Our team will be happy to investigate further.
