Kudo Copy Trader fees are charged using a performance fee model, meaning you only pay a fee when your chosen Signal Provider generates realised profits on your account.
There are no platform fees charged by Pelican for copying a strategy. Instead, each Signal Provider may set a performance fee that is clearly displayed before you subscribe.
How Performance Fees Work
A performance fee is calculated as a percentage of the profits generated by the Signal Provider on your account.
For example:
- You copy a Signal Provider.
- The copied trades generate a realised profit of $1,000.
- The Signal Provider's performance fee is 20%.
In this example, a performance fee of $200 would be charged, and the remaining $800 profit would remain in your account.
When Are Fees Charged?
Performance fees are only charged when profits are realised from copied trades. If copied positions do not generate a profit, no performance fee will be charged.
Can I See the Fees Before Subscribing?
Yes. The applicable performance fee is displayed on the Signal Provider's profile before you begin copying their strategy, allowing you to make an informed decision before subscribing.
Before following any Signal Provider, we recommend reviewing their performance history, risk profile, trading style and fee structure to ensure it aligns with your investment objectives and risk tolerance.
