The "Trading Disabled" error in MetaTrader 5 (MT5) indicates that trading is currently not permitted on the selected account or instrument.
This message can appear for several reasons:
Account Not Yet Approved
If your Kudo account is still pending verification or review, trading may be temporarily disabled until the account has been fully activated.
Insufficient Account Verification
Certain account features, including trading, may be restricted until all required Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation has been submitted and approved.
Incorrect Trading Account
You may be logged into an account that is inactive, archived or intended for a different purpose than live trading.
Market Closed
Some instruments can only be traded during specific market hours. If the market is closed, trading may be unavailable until the next trading session.
Instrument Restrictions
Certain products may be temporarily unavailable due to market conditions, trading halts, corporate actions or other restrictions.
Trading Permissions Removed
In rare cases, trading access may be temporarily restricted due to compliance reviews, account limitations or security-related reasons.
If you receive a "Trading Disabled" message, first verify that your account is fully verified and that you are logged into the correct MT5 trading account. If the issue persists, please contact Kudo Support and provide your MT5 account number and a screenshot of the error message so our team can investigate further.
